| Samsung, Extreme Sheep LED Art |
|
James Rouse and the Viral Factory has directed Samsung latest campaign ‘Extreme Sheep LED Art’ which combines sheep, sheepdogs and LEDs ingeniously to promote its LED TV range. The viral was produced by Jon Stopp at the Viral Factory and MPC provided the post. Two rival farmers have had an ongoing competition trying to prove who the best shepherd is. The Baa-Studs have had enough and in a last attempt to prove their supremacy they put together a bit of “Extreme Shepherding,” using sheep and LEDs to create some incredible displays. Shot in the hills of Wales over two nights, the ad shows shepherding skills at their very best. The FX Studio at MPC duplicated the sheep using multiple passes which were composited together to create the big walking sheep and the ‘video game’ scene using After Effects, Boujou and Shake. The camera screen had to tracked and composited and some camera movement was added. A final grade was added by Ricky Gausis and Kennedy Dawson. |
