Michael is a Creative Director at MPC’s LA studio, with exemplary aesthetic sensibility, expertise on leading teams through large-scale projects, and long-standing relationships with the top directors.
He joined the LA team in 2016 as Head of 2D, after 13 years in our London studio. His impressive portfolio of work includes some of the industry’s most acclaimed commercials, including the double Cannes Gold Lion winning and triple VES winning Samsung ‘Do What You Can’t’ spot directed by Matthijs Van Heijningen.
Additionally his work for Channel 4’s ‘Meet the Superhumans’ directed by Tom Tagholm took home the Cannes Grand Prix for Film Craft. Recent work includes BMW’s epic ‘Legend’ spot directed by Dante Ariola, and several spots directed by Patrick Daughters including Honda ‘Fight Mehdiocrity’ and Chobani ‘Wonderful World of Less’. Throughout his career Michael has regularly collaborated with high profile directors including Tom Hooper, Traktor, Dante Ariola, Rupert Sanders, Noam Murro and Mark Romanek.
In addition to his awards, Michael’s work has consistently been applauded by the industry’s top award shows. He has been honored with a VES Award for Outstanding Animated Commercial for Cadbury ‘Spots v Stripes’ and a D&AD Pencil and British Arrow for Channel 4’s ‘Street Summer’ campaign, for which he helped develop an innovative new filming technique.
