Alvin Cruz joined MPC’s New York office in 2017 as Creative Director, where his role has been to guide, elevate, and grow the creative vision of the studio. With 20 years in the industry, Alvin has a wealth of experience as a Creative Director, VFX Supervisor, and Flame Artist on top campaigns across the VFX landscape, partnering with global brands including Mercedes-Benz, Coca-Cola, Adidas, and Stella Artois. Well-respected in the industry, he is also an established member of the Visual Effects Society.
Following his studies in Film Directing in Spain, Alvin joined the visual effects industry, advancing in his career and building a reputation for excellence at post-production studios including The Mill in London and Method Studios in New York.
His portfolio includes Milk’s ‘Anthem’, Volvo’s ‘Accident, Sprint’s 2018 Super Bowl spot, ‘Evelyn’, and Louis Vuitton’s prestigious campaign featuring actress Emma Stone. He has collaborated with award-winning directors like Nicolai Fuglsig, Stacy Wall, Peter Thwaites, Noam Murro, and Matthijs Van Heijningen. He was also the VFX Supervisor for the critically praised feature film ‘Swiss Army Man’.
