Philip Hambi

Philip is an award winning colourist working out of MPC’s London office, where he has been crafting his skills over the past seven years. In March 2019, Philip won the Silver Arrow at the British Arrows for his work on Billy-Boyd Cape’s much celebrated and talked about Pride film ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’. A further testament to his talent, Philip was profiled in Little Black Book’s list of London’s up-and-coming colourists.

Philip works with a diverse range of exciting and talented directors and has built himself an impressive and diverse catalogue of commercial and promo work, which includes Charlotte Rutherford’s music video for Little Mix’s ‘Bounce Back’ ; GHD’s ‘Long Live The Queens ; Steve Brahms’ H&M Summer 2019 Campaign ; David Wilson’s Nike ‘You’re It’ ; Kit Lynch-Robinson’s Lexus ‘Hybrid Disruption’ campaign and Matt Lambert’s ‘Diesel ‘On’.

He is one of the last of his generation to experience working with real film negative and Telecine scanners before the Spirits of Soho were no more.
