WIEDEN + KENNEDY LONDON ROLL OUT NOKIA CAMPAIGN
London, 2 April 2008 - Wieden + Kennedy London roll out the 6500 TV campaign for Nokia on 10th April, their first TV execution since their appointment as the global lead agency for the Mobile Phones group in July 2007.
Created by Pete Gatley and William Spencer and creatively directed by Ben Walker and Matt Gooden, the 20” commercial for the Nokia 6500, 6500 Classic, 6500 Slide and the 6300 handsets is breaking in the UK on 10th April. The 6500 & 6300 ranges of handsets are Nokia’s thinnest phones to date – slim, beautifully crafted in seamless aluminium, they are premium handsets which are accessible to everyone without compromising on design.
Featuring the strapline ‘Design is for Everyone’ the commercial features a beautiful, suspended installation made up of nearly 1,000 phones from the Nokia 6500 and 6300 ranges. Each handset carries the sound of a single voice and displays a different person on its screen. Starting simply with one phone coming to life with its voice singing a single note and a face appearing on its screen, its followed by another, then another until all the phones suddenly react with each other and form a collaborative harmony that builds to a beautiful crescendo.
