Cadbury, Gorilla's Moment

Juan Cabral, Creative Director at Fallon has made his directorial debut with ‘Gorilla’s Moment,’ the first chapter in the new Cadbury Dairy Milk campaign: ‘Glass and a Half Full Productions’.

The creative idea for the campaign is founded upon the notion that all communications should be as effortlessly enjoyable as eating the bar itself. For ‘Glass and a Half Full Productions’ is a production house that exists solely to create content that makes you feel as if you’ve just eaten a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk. A production house that makes things that make you smile.

With Telecine by MPC’s Mark Gethin, Gorilla’s Moment, is a 90 second spot, which pulls back to show the aforementioned primate, enjoying the Phil Collins’ hit ‘In the Air Tonight,’ before launching into the well known drum solo himself.

MPC VFX Supervisor, Tom Harding, used flame’s ‘warper’ to enhance the humanistic facial expressions and breathing or nostril flaring of the gorilla.
