Ricky Gausis

Colorist Reel

Ricky Gausis is a colorist whose work includes some of today’s most talked about commercials and music videos. Among the highlights, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 trailer “Seize Glory” (both a TVC and viral sensation) and Beats by Dre’s “The Game Starts Here” campaign; along with Dead Weather’s 2015 Best Music Video GRAMMY nominee “I Feel Love (Every Million Miles),” Taylor Swift’s “Style” and Sam Smith’s “I’m Not The Only One.”

His craftsmanship has been recognized with two Best Colour Grade UK VMA nominations in 2014 for DJ Snake’s “Turn Down For What” (also a GRAMMY nominee for Best Music Video) and Sam Smith’s “I’m Not The Only One,” and again in 2015 for Benjamin Booker’s “The Future is Slow Coming.” He also graded the Hiro Murai-directed comedy series “Atlanta,” which premiered on FX in September 2016.
